This facility is for adult inmates.

The inmates housed at Arrowhead Correctional located at 57500 US-50 in Canon City, CO are placed according to their custody level (determined by a number of factors including the past criminal history and the length of their sentence). There are ample educational and vocational training programs for all inmates, especially ones that show a willingness to learn new things that will prepare them for a better life when they are released. The mission is to promote and prepare the offender to leave in better shape than when they arrived, giving them the best chance to never come back and thus lower the state's recidivism rate.

Arrowhead Correctional Center is a minimum-security state penal institution that contains about 520 minimum custody and below adult male inmates. Inmates here can take advantage of various work, education and vocational programs. Some of the educational opportunities that exist at this facility are adult basic education classes, GED classes, and even university courses held at the local Adams State College. The treatments this facility provides include substance abuse treatments (drug and alcohol), sex offender treatment, anger management, and treatment for mental health disorders. Visitors are allowed visits on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 

Visitors may visit Friday and Saturday or Friday and Sunday.  Not Saturday and Sunday.
Visitor processing will take place from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the East Canon Complex Visiting Center.
Transportation to ACC will be provided at East Canon Complex Visiting Center.
