Danville Correctional Center contains the inmates in four housing units, with additional receiving, segregation and health units all set on 85 acres. Inmates are encouraged to take courses and classes that may benefit them, including counseling for a variety of issues from anger management and substance abuse, to sex offender treatment. Offenders at Danville Correctional Center can work in the correctional industries in cardboard box production, bookbinding, graphic arts, and screen printing, sewing, and embroidery department. Vocational skills taught at Danville include automotive repair, various disciplines relating to constructions, horticulture, and custodial maintenance. Inmates can also earn a GED, adult basic education, an associates degree, and even take remedial college courses in this prison.

8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. seven (7) days a week. Offenders are permitted six (6) visits per month, with no more than two (2) on weekends or holidays.
All visitors must be checked in by 3:00 p.m.
