Johnson County Detention Center – Visitation
The public must call on Monday between the hours of 0800 and 1600 to schedule visits with inmates. Inmates must be here 5 days prior to scheduling the visit (Unless MO DOC writ). This means 5 days before the Monday they are calling in to schedule. This is for safety reasons and inmates must be in good standing and have not violated any jail rules.
Visitors must arrive 15 minutes prior to visitation. This ensures the front desk has time to take inmate monies, run all visitors, and take property without pushing back any other visits.
All visitors must have photo identification unless under the age of 16. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. If a visitor has a non extraditable warrant, they are to be advised and not able to have the visit, this is the same as MO D.O.C.
· Visitors and Inmates must remain fully dressed at all times.
· Foul language will not be tolerated and will be grounds for the visit to be stopped.
· Inmates are allowed 30 minutes per visit.
· Inmates are allowed one scheduled visit per week.
