The Lincoln County MO Jail is a medium-security detention center located at 65 Business Park Dr Troy, MO which is operated locally by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Lincoln County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Troy Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.
The Lincoln County Jail Division is responsible for the daily needs of pre-trial and post-trial detainees. Those responsibilities include daily hygiene needs, banking, food service, laundry service and medical needs.
Inmates may purchase commissary items throughout the week. Their orders will be delivered to them on Thursdays. To add money to an inmate’s commissary account the public must create an account by logging into accesscorrections.com.
Transport – The transportation officers are under the command of the Jail Division. They are tasked with the responsibility of safely transporting inmate/detainees to the Lincoln County Jail from other jurisdictions. They’re jobs also consist of transporting inmate/detainees to various courts, both state and federal as well as transporting inmate/detainees to state and federal prisons.
Kitchen – The Sheriff’s Office contracts with CBM Food Service to provide daily meals. Their purpose is to provide nutritional meals for the detainees that are incarcerated in jail. CBM prides themselves on keeping down the overall cost of meals. They prepare three meals each day for every detainee. They are also tasked with complying with any special dietary needs.
Bonding – Bonding is done 24 hours a day, 7-days a week. We accept cash, money orders, and cashier’s checks made payable to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office for bond. Bondsmen are listed in the phone book for surety bonds.
