The Monroe County MO Jail is a medium-security detention center located at 300 North Main St Paris, MO which is operated locally by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Monroe County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Paris Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.

Items Inmates are Allowed to Have CLOTHING: NO gang related, drug related or racially offensive clothing allowed. ALL ITEMS BELOW MUST BE NEW!!!!! Tooth brushes and toothpaste & razors are PROVIDED for the inmates. FOOD & DRINK ITEMS ALL ITEMS MUST BE NEW!! ITEMS CAN BE BROUGHT IN ONE TIME A WEEK ON TUESDAY OR THURSDAY AND
The only exception to resealable food items are individual serving items: Cheese crackers, candy bars, etc. NO food containers with metal parts will be allowed. ANY ITEM MAY BE REFUSED AT ANY TIME IF IT APPEARS SUSPICIOUS. NO food or beverages that have to be heated by means other than hot tap water. |
visitation Info
Regular visiting hours for the Monroe County Jail are on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 2pm and 4pm.
Visitors must fill out a form and cannot be on probation or parole or be a victim, co-defendant, or potential witness in any case involving the inmate they wish to visit.
