The Jefferson County TN Detention Facility is a medium-security detention center located at 765 Justice Center Dr Dandridge, TN which is operated locally by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Jefferson County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Dandridge Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.
This facility can hold a total population of 188 inmates. Corrections officers supervise each pod area providing security against escape and also the daily requirements for the inmates.
Inmates who are on work release are housed at the work release center on Industrial Park Road.
