The Adams County PA Correctional Complex (ACACC) is a medium-security detention center located at 45 Major Bell Ln Gettysburg, PA which is operated locally by the Adams County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Adams County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Gettysburg Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.

ACACC's mission is to protect and serve the residents of Adams County and the general public by providing progressive and comprehensive correctional and rehabilitative services. These functions are achieved through well managed and effective correctional programming, including the use of pretrial supervision; secure incarceration; community re-entry programs, and highly accountable security methods.
