The Bo Robinson Assessment & Treatment Center is a privately run residential reentry center by the GEO Group. In January 1997, the center opened as a 320-bed, full minimum male halfway house and was converted to an assessment center in April 1999. It was the second assessment and treatment center to open its doors in New Jersey. Over the years it has undergone several expansions, and it now holds 900 beds and is home to the Columbus House Program, which is for males and female inmates in need of mental health special need services. GEO Reentry Services is the service provider for Education and Health Centers of America, Inc. at this center.
Bo Robinson Assessment & Treatment Center conducts extensive assessments to assist the Department of Corrections, Mercer County, and NJ State Parole in making informed decisions, as to risk, need referrals, treatment recommendations, and potential program placement. The program is a 60 to 180-day program. The program design is gender-responsive, creating an environment that is conducive for change and recovery. Bo Robinson provides services seven days a week offering structure and flexibility to meet participant risks and needs and agency goals.
