The inmates housed at Florence – Globe Unit located at 1000 Fairgrounds Rd in Globe, AZ are placed according to their custody level (determined by a number of factors including the past criminal history and the length of their sentence). There are ample educational and vocational training programs for all inmates, especially ones that show a willingness to learn new things that will prepare them for a better life when they are released. The mission is to promote and prepare the offender to leave in better shape than when they arrived, giving them the best chance to never come back and thus lower the state's recidivism rate.

Visitation Hours Saturday & Sunday 8am-4pm Visitor Check in from 8am – 10am & 12pm-3pm IHP compliant phase 2&3 Mondays from 1700- 1900

Non-Contact Visits

Non-Contact visits are scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays from 8am – 12pm. You must schedule your visit 1 week in advance
