The inmates housed at Florence – South Unit located at 1312 EButte Ave in Florence, AZ are placed according to their custody level (determined by a number of factors including the past criminal history and the length of their sentence). There are ample educational and vocational training programs for all inmates, especially ones that show a willingness to learn new things that will prepare them for a better life when they are released. The mission is to promote and prepare the offender to leave in better shape than when they arrived, giving them the best chance to never come back and thus lower the state's recidivism rate.

Arizona State Prison Complex – ASPC Florence – South Unit – Visitation

Visitation is by appointment only. Scheduling is available Friday thru Monday only, between the hours of 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Visits must be scheduled a minimum of 1 day in advance but not more than 7 days in advance.

Visitation periods are two hours in length and are non-contact.

Holiday Visitation is for inmates who are Phase II and Phase III. Inmates in Phase I are not authorized Holiday Visits and inmates in Phase II are only authorized those Holiday Visits specified by the Department Order 809, Earned Incentive Program. 

Food Visitation is approved for inmates who have earned Phase II and Phase III. Inmates in Phase I are not authorized food visits and inmates in Phase II are only authorized those food visits specified by Department Order 809, Earned Incentive Program.

SOUTH UNIT EVENING VISITATION SCHEDULE:

PHASE II AND PHASE III ONLY

EVENING VISITATION Mondays and Fridays 1600-1800 hours.

• Check-in time for visitors: 1500-1530

**Does not need to be scheduled.

EVENING FOOD VISITS:

• January 12th and 15th From 1600-1800 hours
• March 9th and 12th From 1600-1800 hours.
• April 30th and May 4th From 1600-1800 hours.
• June 25th and 29th From 1600-1800 hours.
• August 24th and 27th From 1600-1800 hours.
• October 15th and 19th From 1600-1800 hours.
• December 10th and 14th From 1600-1800 hours.

Check-in time for visitors 1500-1530 hours for food visits.

This will be on a first come first serve basis with a maximum of 20 inmates only.
