The Davidson County TN Correctional Center – Female is a medium-security detention center located at 5113 Harding Place Nashville, TN which is operated locally by the Davidson County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Davidson County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Nashville Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.

Sending Electronic Messages
Davidson County is partnering with GTL to offer inmate family and friends the ability to send electronic messages that can be received by inmates on personal, handheld tablets within our facility. The GTL Inmate Messaging application is now live.
To register for this service, you can log into your existing account on ConnectNetwork or create a free account by clicking the Sign Up Now button. Make sure that you add Davidson County, TN as a facility to your account.
Once you log into your account, click on Messaging service from the left menu. You will need to add the inmate as a Contact. Once the inmate has been added, they will receive a notification that they have a new Contact. At this time, you can begin sending messages back and forth. The standard messaging rate of $0.25 will apply to all messages being sent.
Video Visitation
If you want to visit an inmate at the Maximum Correctional Center (MCC), once he has moved you will use video visitation. Video visitation for friends and family of those incarcerated at MCC will begin on September 15. All visitors must register as a visitor at https://davidsoncountytn.gtlvisitme.com or call 855-208-7349, to have a visit. Out of town visitors for MCC must call (615) 862-8123 between 8am – 12 Noon Monday through Friday to set up a video visit. All out of town visitors will need to be registered before calling the above number.
Video Visitation Information
MCC visitation days are Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Out of town visitation procedures will stay the same.

Note: The new MCC visitation schedule will be posted once inmates have been relocated from the Criminal Justice Center. All DCSO female inmates have been relocated to CoreCivic. Please call 615-831-7088 for more information, or visit the CCA website.
Also, due to mandatory facility cleaning each month, scheduled visitations will be canceled for CDM – 2nd Saturday of each month
No out of town visits can be scheduled on the above days each month at these facilities.

Guidelines Regarding Visitation
Out Of Town Visits
Will be conducted between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Visits will also be allowed between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the discretion of the shift lieutenant/designee.
Regular Visitation
All visitors must show valid identification and check in before entering the visiting area. All adult visitors 60 years of age or older will not be required to possess photo identification; however, some source of identification will be required. All attorney movement will be held during shift change daily at 2:30 p.m. until facility inmate count clears.
