The Doniphan County Jail is a medium-security detention center located at 219 S Main St
PO Box 32 Troy, KS which is operated locally by the Doniphan County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Doniphan County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Troy Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.
The Doniphan County Jail and its personnel shall strive at all times to provide a safe environment for inmates, personnel, and visitors, to protect them from danger, injury, corporal punishment, abuse, harassment, intimidation, and damage to their property.

-Call 24 hours in advance to set up visitation
-Bring I.D.
-Must be 18 years of age or older. Or be a sibling or child of inmate. Birth Certificate is needed for verification.
-(1) visit per week from Sunday to Saturday
-Inmate must be incarcerated for (5) days prior to being allowed a visit
