This facility is for adult inmates.

The Forsyth County NC Detention Center is a medium-security detention center located at 201 N Church St Winston-Salem, NC which is operated locally by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement Detention Center is an adult maximum security 400,000 square feet detention facility housing male and female sentenced misdemeanant and pretrial inmates. The facility is an eleven-story twin tower structure containing 735 modular steel cells and has a bed capacity of 1,016 inmates.

The Detention Center is located in downtown Winston-Salem and bordered by Second Street on the South, Third Street on the North, Church Street on the West, and Chestnut Street on the East.

Keefe Group, the national leader in providing solutions for correctional facilities, is proud to join us in introducing our new deposit service for the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Center.

Secure Deposits by CYBERSUITE is a new, effective way to deposit funds electronically for family members. We provide senders with an array of options to make deposits with cash, credit or debit card, including the following.

  1. Toll-Free Number (866-345-1884) – A friend or family member will have the ability to call into a toll-free number and speak with a Customer Service Representative to deposit money into an inmate’s trust account using a credit or debit card. Cybersuite has customer service representatives that speak Spanish as well.
  2. Website – A depositor can visit inmatedeposits.com and deposit funds into a friend or family member's trust account using a credit or debit card. The website has been designed to mix the efficiencies of the internet with the security of online deposits to create the most convenient way to apply funds to an account.
  3. Lobby Kiosk – This lobby kiosk is located in the back of the detention center lobby. This kiosk allows friends and family members the ability to deposit funds into an inmate’s account using cash, credit and debit cards 24 hours a day.
