This facility is for adult inmates.

The Fresno County Satellite Jail is a medium-security detention center located at 110 “M” St Fresno, CA which is operated locally by the Fresno County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Fresno County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Fresno Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.

Fresno County Satellite Jail – Visitation
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the operation of three jails within the county. The South Annex Jail built in 1947, the Main Jail built in 1989 and the North Annex Jail built in 1993. The total combined capacity of all open floors is currently 2,427 inmates.

Inmate Programs

The Jail Programs & Services Bureau seeks to enhance the welfare of inmates through a number of programs. Program eligibility may be limited to certain security classifications. Academic education is available to all inmates.

Academic and Life Skills

The Delma Graves Adult School is administered by the Fresno County Office of Education and offers Literacy, Adult Basic Education/General Education Development (ABE/GED), English as a Second Language (ESL), and Personal Skills Development (Life Skills) education.

The Life Skills courses include:
