PO Box 218 in Swainsboro, GA are placed according to their custody level (determined by a number of factors including the past criminal history and the length of their sentence). There are ample educational and vocational training programs for all inmates, especially ones that show a willingness to learn new things that will prepare them for a better life when they are released. The mission is to promote and prepare the offender to leave in better shape than when they arrived, giving them the best chance to never come back and thus lower the state's recidivism rate.

MISSION:
Ensure public safety and effectively house female offenders while operating a safe and secure facility. In addition: house female offenders that are medium and minimum security; and house Level II outpatient Mental Health offenders. Host facility for Emanuel Probation Detention Center
HOUSING:
Six (6) open dormitories that house forty-six (46) per dorm; one (1) open dorm that houses one hundred twenty-four (124); and ten (10) open dorms that house sixteen (16) per dorm. There are three (4) segregation/isolation cells that can hold seven (7) offenders.

- Religious Activities: Various Worship Services, Bible Study, Choir, Praise Dance Teams, Pastoral Counseling
- Vocational/OJT: Cosmetology, Custodial Maintenance, Grounds Maintenance, Laundry, Small Appliance Repair, Building Maintenance Repairer, General Clerk, Food Preparation, Baker, Cook Apprentice, Car Detail, and Kitchen Helper
