The Hoke County NC Detention Facility & Sheriff’s Jail is a medium-security detention center located at 119 East Edinborough Ave Raeford, NC which is operated locally by the Hoke County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Hoke County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Raeford Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.

The Hoke County Detention Facility is operated under the general supervision of the Sheriff of Hoke County and funded by the Hoke County Board of Commissioners. This facility does not set bond amounts, modify court dates, render verdicts, or determine punishment.
