Visitation:

Visitation is held every Saturday: female inmates are allowed visitors from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.; male inmates are allowed visitors from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. An inmate can request up to two visitors per visitation. Each visit lasts thirty minutes; if there are two visitors for one inmate, then that inmate’s time is equally split between them (fifteen minutes per visitor).

In order to be allowed a visit, the inmate must complete a Visitation Request form with your Name and Driver’s License or I.D. Number and are allowed to request preferred visiting times. Once the inmate requests a visitation, the request goes through an approval process. If the visitation request is approved, then the inmate is given a visitation time. It is the inmates’ responsibility to inform the visitor(s) of the time of the visitation.

Inmate Commissary:

Inmates order commissary every Wednesday before noon and they receive it the following business day. In order for inmates to order commissary they need money on their books. To put money on an inmate’s books you can do any of the following:

  • Bring cash, a debit card, or a credit card to the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Lobby and use the Commissary Kiosk.
  • Click here to add money to an Inmate’s books online
  • Call 1-866-345-1884 to add money to an Inmate’s books over the phone

*An additional fee may be required
