The Montgomery County MO Jail (ICE) is a medium-security detention center located at 211 East Third St Montgomery City, MO which is operated locally by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Montgomery County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Montgomery City Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.

If you need information about a detainee that is housed at this facility, you may call (314) 539-2132 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. When you call, please have the individual’s biographical information ready, including first, last and hyphenated names, any aliases he or she may use, date of birth and country of birth.
Detainees cannot receive incoming calls. If you need to get in touch with a detainee to leave an urgent message, you must call (573) 564-8060 and leave the detainee’s full name, alien registration number and your name and telephone number where you can be reached. The detainee will be given your message.

Montgomery County Missouri Jail Information – VISITORS
Persons entering the Montgomery County Jail Facility to visit Detainees shall adhere to the following rules and regulations:
- You are required to present a government issued and valid photo ID.
- You are prohibited from bringing into the visitation area any cell phones, cameras, recording devices audio or visual, purses, bags, brief cases, coats, and jackets. Lockers are provided in the Visitation Lobby for you to store these items or you may return them to your vehicle prior to entry.
- By entering the Facility you are consenting to a search of your person and possessions. Should you refuse this search your visitation privileges shall be revoked and you shall be escorted from the facility. Failure to comply with directives to leave the facility shall result in your arrest and criminal prosecution.
- No visitor due to age, attitude, or action shall disrupt visitation or cause another Detainees visitation to be disrupted.
- Visitors shall adhere to the posted Dress Code.
- Any individual that damages the Visitation Area by purposely scratching or peeling the paint shall be arrested and criminally prosecuted.
- Any individual attempting to introduce firearms or narcotics into this facility will be arrested and criminally prosecuted.

:: VISITOR’S DRESS CODE ::
Persons entering the Montgomery County Jail to visit Detainees shall adhere to the following Dress Code.
Female Visitors Age 12 and Older:
- Shorts shall cover customarily covered areas of the anatomy, including the buttocks and crotch area, both when standing and sitting. Shorts may be no higher than mid-thigh. Short-shorts, jogging shorts, cut-offs, and other obviously inappropriate short garments are Prohibited.
- Skirts and dresses shall extend no higher than mid-thigh, seated.
- Slits in skirts and dresses shall rise no higher than mid-thigh, seated.
- Sheer (see-through) clothing is Prohibited.
- The top of clothing shall be no lower than the underarm in the front and back. Bare midriffs and strapless tops, tube tops, and swimsuits are Prohibited.
- Shoes shall be worn at all times.
- Recognized gang “colors” and other gang displays are Prohibited.
Male Visitors Age 12 and Older:
- Shorts shall cover customarily covered areas of the anatomy, including the buttocks and crotch area, both when standing and sitting. Shorts may be no higher than mid-thigh. Short-shorts, jogging shorts, cut-offs, and other obviously inappropriate short garments are Prohibited.
- Shirts shall be worn at all times. Muscle shirts, bare midriff shirts, and sleeveless shirts are Prohibited.
- Shoes shall be worn at all times.
- Gang “colors” and other gang displays are Prohibited.
Montgomery County MO Jail (ICE) – Friends and Family Visits
Females:
Saturdays: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Sundays: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Males:
Saturdays: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Sundays: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Detainees are allotted 30 minutes for visitation.
- To ensure adequate time to process visitors through security, all visitors must arrive 45 minutes prior to the scheduled visit time.
Adult visitors must present a valid, verifiable government-issued identification card to enter the facility.
Minors who are visiting the facility must be accompanied by an adult guardian (18 years or older). Minors must not be left unaccompanied in the waiting room, visiting room or any other area.
Attorney Visits
Legal representatives of detainees are authorized to visit their clients during the following hours:
Attorneys and/or paralegals may visit detainees seven days a week from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., including holidays.
A list of pro bono (free) legal organizations will be posted in all detainee housing units and other appropriate areas. This list shall be updated quarterly. If a detainee wishes to see a representative or paralegal from that organization, it is the detainee’s responsibility to contact them for an appointment.
Consular Visits
Consular officials may meet with their detained nationals at any time. It is requested that prior arrangements be made with the ICE Supervisory Deportation Officer to the extent possible, and that consular officials bring appropriate credentials when they come to the facility. Clergy Visits
Clergy may visit detainees at any time, but must make prior arrangements with the Chaplain’s Office.
Visiting Restrictions
- All family or other social visits are non-contact.
- No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted in the facility.
- If visitors are or appear to be intoxicated, visitation will not be allowed.
- All visitors are subject to search while in the facility.
- Visitors are not allowed to pass or attempt to pass any items to detainees.
- Visitors are not allowed to carry any items into the visitation area.
Search Procedures (prior to or during all visitations)
All individuals requesting admittance to the facility or the visitation area are subject to a pat-down search of their person, an inspection of their belongings, and a metal scan search. Individuals refusing to cooperate with a reasonable search will not be admitted. No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted. No electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, radios, etc.) are permitted in the secure areas of this facility.
