Nampa Community Work Center basic information to help guide you through what you can do for your inmate while they are incarcerated. The facility's direct contact number: 208-465-8490

This facility is for adult inmates.

The inmates housed at Nampa Community Work Center located at 1640 11th Ave North in Nampa, ID are placed according to their custody level (determined by a number of factors including the past criminal history and the length of their sentence). There are ample educational and vocational training programs for all inmates, especially ones that show a willingness to learn new things that will prepare them for a better life when they are released. The mission is to promote and prepare the offender to leave in better shape than when they arrived, giving them the best chance to never come back and thus lower the state's recidivism rate.

The Nampa Community Reentry Center opened in 1985 and houses 108 male inmates classified as community and minimum custody.

The facility's leadership supports the IDOC's mission to Protect Idaho through Safety, Accountability, Partnerships and Opportunities for Offender Change. Inmates are afforded the privilege of community-based employment, treatment programs, support groups, community service and other possibilities to promote a positive and successful return to the community.

Please note – Contraband: Idaho Code 18-2510 states that a person commits a crime by knowingly introducing or possessing contraband in a correctional facility. Contraband includes but is not limited to tobacco, cell phone(s) or telecommunication equipment, controlled/illegal substances, firearms or dangerous weapons, ammunition/explosives, and escape tools or devices. Violations are punishable by imprisonment of up to 5 years and/or fine of up to $10,000.

The use of tobacco products on IDOC property is not allowed, to include parking areas.
