This facility is for adult inmates.

The inmates housed at Lakeview Shock Incarceration located at 9300 Lake Ave in Brocton, NY are placed according to their custody level (determined by a number of factors including the past criminal history and the length of their sentence). There are ample educational and vocational training programs for all inmates, especially ones that show a willingness to learn new things that will prepare them for a better life when they are released. The mission is to promote and prepare the offender to leave in better shape than when they arrived, giving them the best chance to never come back and thus lower the state's recidivism rate.

Lakeview Shock Incarceration Correctional Facility is a minimum security shock incarceration prison that houses both males and females in the Village of Brocton, in Chautauqua County, New York. The facility provides special treatment for non-violent offenders.

It is a minimum security prison To qualify for this facility inmates must be incarcerated for non-violent crimes. The current capacity of Lakeview Shock Incarceration Correctional Facility is 540 males and 109 females. While incarcerated inmates can receive alcohol/substance abuse treatment and participate in Alcoholics/Narcotics Anonymous meetings held at the institution.

Lakeview Shock Incarceration Correctional Facility gets its name from the boot-camp-like nature of the facility, that is meant to shock an offender into changing poor behavioral patterns. Inmates at this facility can participate in vocational studies that include building and custodial maintenance, floor coverings, horticulture, upholstery, and computers.

VISITING DAYS & HOURS
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Weekends and Holidays – Latest Arrival Time 2:30 PM  

SPECIAL HOUSING UNIT VISITING DAYS & HOURS (Inmates in SHU – 1 visit within 7 day period)
SHU 9:00AM to 3:00PM Saturday – Latest Arrival Time 2:30PM 
S-Block 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Saturday – Latest Arrival Time 8:30 PM 

NUMBER OF ALLOWABLE VISITS
Shock Inmates get one visit every two weeks.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF VISITORS PER VISIT/DAY (How many people at a visiting table at one time)
Three adults and two lap children/Unlimited. 

Visitors may trade places with other visitors, to visit the same inmate, but cannot return to the visit table once they leave.
