OK DOC – Enid Community Corrections Center (ECCC) basic information to help guide you through what you can do for your inmate while they are incarcerated. The facility's direct contact number: 580-977-3800

This facility is for adult inmates.

The inmates housed at Enid Community Corrections located at 2020 E Maine Ave in Enid, OK are placed according to their custody level (determined by a number of factors including the past criminal history and the length of their sentence). There are ample educational and vocational training programs for all inmates, especially ones that show a willingness to learn new things that will prepare them for a better life when they are released. The mission is to promote and prepare the offender to leave in better shape than when they arrived, giving them the best chance to never come back and thus lower the state's recidivism rate.

The Enid Community Corrections Center (ECCC) is an all-male state prison facility, with a 98-bed capacity. Formerly a motel, ECCC consists of five large buildings and two smaller storage/laundry buildings. The facility is a stepping stone for inmates who are preparing to be released back into society. Residents at Enid Community Corrections Center can earn certification as a welder and can receive assistance with job placement. Inmates can also work in the Prisoner Public Works Program providing labor crews for community services around the city of Enid. Some inmates at Enid Community Corrections Center can participate in the work release program which allows the inmate to work a job in the surrounding community during the day and report back to the prison at the end of their shift. Offenders can also receive substance abuse treatment and vocational training in welding, plumbing, electrical, horticulture, and carpentry.
