This facility is for adult inmates.
The inmates housed at Hamilton Correctional Center located at 53468 Mineral Springs Rd in Hodgen, OK are placed according to their custody level (determined by a number of factors including the past criminal history and the length of their sentence). There are ample educational and vocational training programs for all inmates, especially ones that show a willingness to learn new things that will prepare them for a better life when they are released. The mission is to promote and prepare the offender to leave in better shape than when they arrived, giving them the best chance to never come back and thus lower the state's recidivism rate.
The Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center (JEHCC) is a minimum security state prison that incarcerates about 730 male offenders run by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections is located in Hodgen, OK, on the northern edge of the Ouachita National Forest JEHCC is also the host facility to 48 LeFlore County Jail contract beds.
JEHCC is the largest correctional vocational training program in the state. The Career Tech program includes eight different skill area programs: Construction Technology, Industrial Electricity, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration, Masonry, Welding, Engine Performance, Steering/Suspension/Brakes and Transmission Repair. The facility’s education department also provides additional education which includes: Literacy, Adult Basic Education, GED, college-level courses and a Re-Entry program.
JEHCC has over 130 volunteers of various faiths, which participate in many different religious/educational and substance abuse education such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. These programs are scheduled seven days a week.
Offenders can enroll in The Victory Bible College (VBC) and can earn 11 college hours of credit upon completion. The credits can be transferred to the Victory Bible Institute campus in Tulsa, Oral Roberts University, or several other Christian colleges.

Visiting Hours
• Level I – one hour non-contact between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (unless on DU status) and legal/clergy visits.
• Level II – up to four hours per week – 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm
• Level III – up to six hours per week – 10:30 am to 4:30 pm
• Level IV – up to eight hours per week – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
All offenders will be allowed to visit on state holidays unless the holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday.
If the holiday is on a Saturday or Sunday, the regular visiting schedule will apply.
Any exception to visiting days or times must be approved by the Warden or designee at least three (3) days prior to the visit.
Visitors will not enter the facility parking lot prior to 8:00 a.m. on the date of the visit.
Any exceptions will be handled through special visiting procedures and should be directed to the Warden.
