OK DOC – John Lilley Correctional Center (JLCC) basic information to help guide you through what you can do for your inmate while they are incarcerated. The facility's direct contact number: 918-667-3381
This facility is for adult inmates.
The inmates housed at Lilley Correctional located at 407971 Hwy 62E in Boley, OK are placed according to their custody level (determined by a number of factors including the past criminal history and the length of their sentence). There are ample educational and vocational training programs for all inmates, especially ones that show a willingness to learn new things that will prepare them for a better life when they are released. The mission is to promote and prepare the offender to leave in better shape than when they arrived, giving them the best chance to never come back and thus lower the state's recidivism rate.
John Lilley Correctional Center (JLCC) is a minimum security state prison operated by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections for about 820 adult male inmates located on a 256-acre site one mile east of Boley in Okfuskee County. Situated halfway between Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Lilley Correctional is an ideal location to house elderly and physically challenged offenders.
Special consideration is given to offenders with severe physical limitations to ensure they are housed in housing units with ADA accessible facilities. Offenders restricted to wheelchairs or those who have limited mobility are assigned to specific housing areas where they can be monitored more closely and where they can be assisted with their day-to-day needs.
Medical services at this prison include emergency services, dental services, and care for inmates with a chronic or debilitating illness. The majority of offenders at this prison are incarcerated for violent crimes. While incarcerated inmates can receive substance abuse treatment and can participate in adult basic education courses and even earn a GED. Select inmates at JLCC can participate in the Oklahoma Correctional Industries chemical mattress and box factory operation, which produces cleaning chemicals, mop heads, mattresses, and boxes. Lilley also operates a small calf production in which fifteen inmates breed cows and raise the calf.
