The Osage County OK Jail is a medium-security detention center located at 900 S St Paul Ave Pawhuska, OK which is operated locally by the Osage County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Osage County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Pawhuska Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.
The Osage County Jail is located in Pawhuska, Oklahoma near the County Fairgrounds. It was built in 1997 as a replacement for the building formerly located next to the County Courthouse.
The facility has a capacity of about 140 beds. Daily inmate population has been consistently near 100 since the facility was opened.
Other local Law Enforcement agencies utilize this facility to hold and transport their prisoners.
In cooperation with the Oklahoma Criminal Justice Resource Center, the Osage County Jail is now using the Offender Data Information System (ODIS) to manage records so that other agencies in the state can view our warrants and inmate information.
The report under “Booking Report” is generated by the ODIS system and will be updated on a regular basis.
