The Randolph County NC Jail is a medium-security detention center located at 790 New Century Dr Asheboro, NC which is operated locally by the Randolph County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Randolph County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Asheboro Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.

The Randolph County Jail is a 195 bed facility serving all of Randolph County's Law Enforcement Agencies. Both males and females are incarcerated at this facility from age 16 and up.

People booked into the Randolph County Jail have access to payphones managed by Paytel Communications from 10:00am to 10:00pm. No incoming calls are permitted. Only properly labeled, prescribed medication will be accepted by the jail staff on behalf of anyone housed at the Randolph County Jail. If you wish to provide money to someone currently incarcerated, mail a MONEY ORDER in the persons name to the Jail's address.

In addition to accepting money orders via US Mail – Randolph County Jail now offers commissary through Oasis Commissary Services, Inc.. Money may be deposited into inmates’ accounts via the automated Kiosk in the jail lobby. At this time, the kiosk accepts CASH ONLY. There is a fee of $2.50 per transaction. The kiosk is available for use 24/7.

Randolph County Jail – Visitation

Visitation is currently held Monday through Friday, 7:00pm to 8:00pm. 
Pods EA and H will be held on Saturdays from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.
