This facility is for adult inmates.
The Rankin County MS Jail is a medium-security detention center located at 221 North Timber St Brandon, MS which is operated locally by the Rankin County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Rankin County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Brandon Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.
Funds must be in the form of a postal money order only. The minimum amount of deposit accepted is $30.00. All deposits must be mailed to the following address:
